“Euro integration is very important for our society. Many Ukrainians have been to Europe and seen how people live there. What will we get from Euro integration? First of all, European standards of life, where the person, his or her rights and freedoms, and the law come first,” stressed Vitaliy Klychko.
Regarding other advantages of joining the European community, Leader of the “UDAR” Party focused on defeating corruption, decent wages and pensions, high social standards of living.
At the same time, according to Klychko, the goals of the current government are diametrically opposite to this; they seek only personal enrichment.
“It is impossible to survive in Ukraine without bribes. One can buy any position or title, support of any government official, any court decision. However, Ukrainians do not want to turn courts into auction houses. And nobody wants to go to a doctor, who bought his diploma and license,” noted the politician.
“UDAR” believes that Euro integration will allow Ukraine to move away from such shameful practices. Klychko cited Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Slovakia as examples of positive impact of the European integration. He noted that if these countries managed to carry out important reforms and bring changes in such a short time, then Ukraine was capable of doing this as well.
