The leader of “UDAR” Vitaliy Klychko discussed the situation in Ukraine with former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and former Prime Minister of Moldova Vlad Filat during morning coffee in the cafe at the Independence Square.

Saakashvili and Filat, whose parties are members of the European People's Party, expressed their support for the aspirations of the Ukrainian people for European integration and peaceful assertion of their rights.
"What is happening in Ukraine today is a political hostile takeover of the sovereign state in Central Europe by Putin's Russia. We do not interfere with the internal affairs of Ukraine, but understand that there is no other way for Ukraine except for Europe, as it is the choice of principles and values. Therefore, today all are worried about Ukraine and want to help", Saakashvili said .
Mikheil Saakashvili, Vlad Filat and other members of the EPP will brief the press today at 15:30 and will give a speech on the stage of Maidan.
