Members of the Parliament of UDAR faction Valeriy Patskan and Oksana Prodan visited hospitalized soldiers who suffered during the clashes at the Presidential Administration on December 1.

“We took some fruit, yogurt and saw boys used as a human shield between provocateurs and “Berkut” units. They suffered most at the turmoil. Currently 29 people stay at hospital. Two of them have lower limb fractures. Majority suffer from burns after the teargas was used", Valeriy Patskan said.
He noted that the majority of the soldiers come of poor families and now only journalists visit them, so the MPs gave them necessary toiletries.
"We told them that we are MPs. I am the head of the Human Rights Committee and we just came to visit the victims. We had a talk and said that they received an order and they had to stay at the Presidential Administration. They added that they are tired of journalists and it is for the first time when MPs see them"- Patskan said.
Meanwhile, representatives of UDAR together with volunteers of the Maidan decided to feed the staff of “Berkut”, soldiers of internal troops, and the Party of Regions supporters who are rallying in Mariinsky Park. Activists brought them sandwiches and cookies.
