"Yesterday we wrote history. We won and proved, that all together, side by side, we are able to defend our principles and desire to live in a free democratic country. Today there are more of us than yesterday. People from different parts of Ukraine have either already arrived or still on their way here. They are coming to support the Maidan and the future", Vitaliy Klychko said.
He noted that after yesterday's events it became clear that the country needs reloading of state power as soon as possible.
"At first we are offered some round tables and then they send riot police against peaceful protesters. What kind of agreement can we talk about? None of our demands is fulfilled. We do not want to live under dictatorship. Neither will. Therefore we will win", Vitaliy Klychko said.
However, Vitaliy's brother Wladimir said that yesterday Maidan was fearless and principled. And yesterday the main message, “Do not be afraid”, spread around. "You cannot be afraid in this square, because we stand for truth and justice. Yesterday we proved that we are worthy of being called Ukrainians", Wladimir concluded.
He also thanked all the volunteers who cooked and distributed food, tea and coffee in the square. "They are almost invisible, but they are always with us and help us", Wladimir said, receiving positive feedback and support from all the people in the Maidan.
