UDAR says government tries to compel Klychko to free streets of police

Kyiv City Council asks court to oblige the leader UDAR Vitaliy Klychko and other people under the lawsuit, to remove barriers in the streets of central Kyiv, which are now occupied by police officers and equipment, UDAR points out.

"As the result of the court proceedings, the authorities want to get a binding court decision, under which Vitaliy Klychko or any other person will be required to free these streets from any objects that unable passage of vehicles and the free movement of pedestrians in the city of Kyiv. That means the people in question must clear the streets of equipment and police officers who occupy the streets in the city center after December 11", general lawyer of UDAR, MP Valeriy Karpuntsov.

UDAR notes, that in view of the apparent illegality of the actions and decisions of courts and officers of the state executive service, UDAR filed an appeal against the ruling of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv on the opening of the proceedings, an appeal against the ruling of the court on the claim, and a complaint against the actions of the state enforcement officer in this case.
