"The ban was provided at a height of 100 meters with gear down and fully prepared for landing, with visibility of 50 meters", Karpuntsov said. The deputies conducted their own investigation and sent the documents with stated facts to foreign embassies.
According to Valeriy Karpuntsov, landing was denied because of the alleged anti-terrorist measures. However, the MP added, pilots had received denial for landing before relevant authorities received information that allegedly was the basis for anti-terrorist measures.
At the same time other planes were allowed to land in "Boryspil" and "Zhulyany". Valeriy Karpuntsov highlighted that in all the cases when the decision to conduct anti-terrorist operations is taken, the President must be informed immediately. “The government created artificial obstacles for landing of the aircraft, which could lead to a crash", Karpuntsov said. He reminded that the plane landed at the airport of Kryviy Rig, where any no antiterrorist measures were taken.
