One country, one Maidan. Opposition calls People’s Assembly on Sunday at 12.00

The leaders of the three opposition parties, Vitaliy Klychko, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, and Oleh Tyahnybok announced People’s Assembly to be held on Sunday, December 22 at the Independence Square, and urged all concerned to join in, a joint statement the three political parties runs.

"The whole country watched a cynical interview of the President Yanukovych. The whole country heard a cynical report of the Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka. And the whole country came to the conclusion that they live in another state, where there are no problems and traffic jams, where no one has opinion, and brutal crackdown of peaceful protesters with batons and arrests is a "slight abuse of authority" and "neutralization of a handful of provocateurs", noted the parties.

"That is why we should remind Viktor Yanukovych that we are here! We are the people who want changes, feel citizens, not slaves, who want to live, but not to exist. We all will gather in the Independence Square at 12.00 on Sunday, to show that there are millions of us and we cannot be ignored! ", opposition leaders declared.

 Such acts like Motor'rolla, KOZAKsystem, Haydamaky, Rolix, Krambambulya (Belarus), Taras Chubay, Marichka Burmaka, Nina and Antonina Matvienko, Arsen Mirzoyan will perform in the Maidan.
