"Donbass residents are in the most difficult conditions to fight", Klitschko said. He noted that one of the activists of the Maidan Maria Oliynyk from Donetsk had had her car vandalized. "They broke an old car of the EuroMaidan activist who had spent three weeks here. Then she returned home to the local Maidan. The woman is 77 years old. She lives in Donetsk and she is not afraid, she fights", he pointed out. Vitali Klitschko said he wanted to get to know her. "I will come to you. You are a real citizen of the country. Thank you a lot!" the leader of UDAR added.
After the speech from the stage, Vitali Klitschko met a neighbor of the Donetsk activist while talking to people in the Maidan. Klitschko asked the man to call Maria Oliynyk and talked with the woman on the phone. He asked how he could help. The woman answered that she needed a new battery and some money to repair the car. Vitali Klitschko has transferred funds through Maria Oliynyk neighbor and promised to come to Donetsk soon.
