Tomorrow Central Electoral Committee may file a request to the Constitutional Court to explain the provisions of the Constitution concerning the procedure of application in terms of permanent residence in Ukraine for presidential candidates, the leader of UDAR Vitali Klitschko said during the interview on Radio Liberty.

"This appeal relates to me personally, as a candidate for the presidential post. The government is doing everything possible to deprive Klitschko as the main rival of Yanukovych to stand for the election. However, there are no reason to ban me from running for the post", Klitschko said.

"If Ukrainian courts continue to follow instructions of the Presidential Administration, we will resort to all possible means, including the appeal to the ECHR, to confirm my eligibility to run for president of Ukraine".

"I have iron cast evidence that will not give a chance for the government to ban me to run for presidency", Klitschko pointed out.

According to the leader of UDAR, he is ready for a difficult battle and is confident in his victory. "If you are ready to fight and win, knowing that it will not be easy , you have to take responsibility. I have nothing to fear, I work honestly and transparently, and I want to change this country. I understand that this is a big responsibility, and the fight will not be easy, but I'm ready for it and I'm confident in my victory", Vitali Klitschko said.
