"Despite President's pressure, who personally came to Parliament, Party of Regions MPs did not have enough votes for the "hostages law" and some of them once again resorted to non-personal voting. The party stresses that the President has no right to sign this document and shall return it to Parliament. MPs should pass a law that will provide for release of all hostages without any preconditions.

At a special session of the Parliament during the voting for so-called amnesty bill some MPs of Parliament majority voted not only for themselves. It is a violation of the Сonstitution and regulations provisions and makes voting ineffective, UDAR Party claims.
