International organizations and influential politicians could become mediators and guarantors in talks with Yanukovych. There is no confidence in the President, as he does not meet the obligations and therefore breaks agreements and shows lack of interest in resolving the situation, UDAR leader Vitali Klitschko said at a meeting with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the 50th Munich Security Conference.

"Effective mediation of influential high-level internationals who can act as guarantors of agreements with Ukrainian authorities will be helpful to solve political crisis in Ukraine", Klitschko said.

U.S. Senator McCain and other Congress delegation members enquired about the situation in Ukraine. They expressed concern about violence and repression against protesters and further escalation.

Vitali Klitschko reiterated the importance of world democracies response to the terror which authorities unfolded against their own citizens. "When people are shot, beaten, kidnapped, and jailed, and no one bears responsibility, certain reaction and specific mechanisms of influence on the Ukrainian authorities must put an end to it", leader of UDAR noted.

In course of the Munich Security Conference, Klitschko met with the President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

Vitali Klitschko will also hold meetings with the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland.  Vitali Klitschko will also speak at the Conference and visit local EuroMaidan.
