Valentyn Nalyvaichenko, who has been appointed as Parliamentary supervisor of the Security Service of Ukraine, reached an agreement to cooperate Security Service's operations with activists of Maidan.

During the meeting at Security Service headquarters, Nalyvaichenko discussed the next steps of the Security Service. He informed activists that at the meeting with Mustafa Jemilev, a representative of the Mejilis of the Crimean Tatar people, they agreed to undertake common steps to prevent separatist manifestations in the Crimea.

Nalyvaichenko assured that together with the activists SSU would undertake immediate measures to arrest those responsible for murders, and responsible for illegal orders which led to the massacre. "There are empty prison cells next to the Pukach’s one. The SSU has to fill them with officials guilty of bloodshed,” Nalyvaichenko said.
