According to Klitschko, today the most important task is to create an effective government system. "It's not easy. But we have desire for it. No time to rest," UDAR leader said. He stressed that the Ukrainian economy is in very tough conditions. "The situation is very poor both economically and politically. We are on the brink of default," he added.
Vitali Klitschko said that the representatives of the old regime must not be appointed to a new government, as they had demonstrated their unprofessionalism. "The government should be professional and efficient, as it faces a very difficult task. Indeed, Ukraine has a lot of debts, including gas and debts for international creditors," the politician said.
He stressed that representatives of various political parties will be appointed to the government, but the majority will be opposition representatives. The leader of UDAR expressed confidence that the new government will be formed on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
Klitschko told that today he had had a meeting with MEPs, who insisted on a stable economic situation in in Ukraine. "We discussed the issue of providing financial assistance to Ukraine from European countries and aid in reforms implementation. Yet this assistance will be provided under the guarantees of a new government," UDAR leader pointed out.
