Leader of UDAR Vitali Klitschko calls on Russian politicians not to interfere in the situation in Crimea.

"I do not understand the position of many people who incite confrontation. We have a lot of information that Russian troops are involved in this. It is necessary to urge them not to interfere. It is strange when State Duma deputies come to Crimea and do strange things. I am surprised by this mass landing. They did not come to Maidan, and suddenly they appear in the Crimea," Vitali Klitschko said.

According to Klitschko, today Russian military presence in Crimea contradicts provisions of the Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances. "The actions which occur in the Crimea, is a violation of this memorandum. I hope the international community will be able to give a clear assessment of this,” UDAR leader said. “In the Crimea many mass media, mostly Russian, spread false information about the situation in Ukraine and say that nationalists have seized power. I want to stress again that the legitimacy of the current Ukrainian authorities has been recognized by all key countries and majority of Verkhovna Rada MPs," he added.

Klitschko stressed that a number of politicians are trying to split the country in various ways. "But there are no grounds for this. This is done intentionally," UDAR leader said.
