Today world democracies, the EU countries, especially those who are guarantors of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, should help it to defend its sovereignty and integrity, UDAR leader Vitali Klitschko said during a meeting with French President Francois Hollande.

"Together, we should stop the aggression which unfolds arbitrariness in the heart of Europe. Not only the sovereignty of Ukraine is under threat, but also the entire European security structure, which ensures the stability and calm on the European continent,” Klitschko said. “What we want are civilized and predictable relations with Russia. We still have a chance to resolve the crisis diplomatically. However, no one should doubt, that Ukrainians are ready to defend their independence," UDAR leader said.

He also pointed out, that a stable situation in Ukraine allows the government to focus on reforms to lead the country out of the crisis and bring to the EU integration.

Vitali Klitschko urged EU politicians to sign the Association Agreement with Ukraine as soon as possible.

In Paris, Klitschko will also hold meetings with political experts, journalists and representatives of the Ukrainian community.
