"I believe that the capital may set a good example of successful reform implementation. I am convinced that dramatic changes in Ukraine will begin in Kyiv," Vitali Klitschko underlined.
When asked what Kyiv needs now, UDAR leader mentioned that, first, it is conquering corruption, pulling municipal budget out of shadow and forwarding it to the urban development. Moreover, he stressed road repairs and construction of new ones, adjustment of transport infrastructure and revival of comfort infrastructure, such as schools, kindergartens and clinics.
"Corruption is the root of all evil. The first strike should be made at this phenomenon. The budget must be clear. Responsibility of officials not in fact, not in word is vital. Kyiv lacks funds. That is why my goal is to make Kyiv attractive for investment. Life in the capital should be safe and comfortable," Vitali Klitschko underlined.
