"I have listened to all. The work of all departments is unsatisfactory. So Kyiv residents say, as they face the city economy every day. The fact that the city is dangerous and uncomfortable to live in is the responsibility of everyone in power," Vitali Klitschko said.
He recommended the officials who are unable to perform their duties to resign today. "Otherwise there is a possibility to be questioned at the prosecutor's office. Corruption, and irresponsibility are the main features of the current bureaucratic vertical, especially in Kyiv," Klitschko pointed out.
He emphasized that an appointed city council commission would check legality of all the decisions taken during Chernovetskyi’s and Popov’s terms. All findings will be forwarded to the law enforcement agencies. "We will return funds and unlawfully expropriated property back to the city community. I will personally make sure that perpetrators will be held accountable," Kyiv mayor said.
