Kyivans must be informed on the mechanism of utility tariffs increase, how this will affect the quality of public utility services and how capital residents can apply for compensation, Kyiv city mayor Vitali Klitschko underlined during a meeting with heads of the KCSA departments, heads of district administrations and heads of public utility services providers.

"Our task is to establish conditions so that Kyiv residents could resist the shock of rising utility rates, introduced by the government. Kyivans should know what they are paying for. They must be aware of how the quality of public services will increase, along with an increase of the rates. Also, we need to explain who and how can be granted a subsidy to pay less," Klitschko said.
