"The President after the meeting of the contact team in Minsk ordered to cease fire today at 18.00. I hope this can prove a step towards settling a number of key issues in the East. In a few hours, the President will return to Ukraine, and I think he will address Ukrainians and explain the agreement reached. Then we can analyze it and decide what to do next," Vitali Klitschko said.
The mayor stressed that the Kyiv authorities continues to support the soldiers in the ATO zone. "We have already supplied excavators to dig trenches, vehicle carriers and other equipment. We also provide body armor, medication, food and clothing. Next week we will provide four ambulances, which the soldiers requested," Klitschko added.
The mayor thanked the volunteers who devote their force, time, and money to provide the troops with all necessary to defend the independence of Ukraine.
