“We took crucial steps in making Kyiv interesting for investors. We have tackled red tape to help investors. A single window investment agency ensures transparency and ease of access for all investors and developers”, the mayor said. “Our team has begun a real fight with corruption, improving the business climate. We began to crush and reveal corruption schemes. Today, Kyiv is first in Ukraine in e-government: our Online Budget and e-tendering ensure further transparency and fair competition. Today Kyiv is open for business as never before. I can personally offer support, guarantees and protection measures for every investor,” Klitschko emphasized.
He underlined that the Kyiv Investment Agency as a single window agency ensures transparency and ease of access for all investors and enquirers.
The mayor said that in Cannes he would offer investors such projects as smart bus stops, hotel and convention center construction, hospital reconstruction and private school construction, LED city lighting, introduction of energy saving technologies, public transportation, residential construction, car parking, recycling, energy generation, telecom infrastructure. “Now we open Kyiv for developing business plans for investment in transportation, parking, waste management and recycling, district heating upgrades, energy savings projects - so that we reduce reliance on foreign energy sources and boost our own green industries,” Klitschko said.
During MIPIM, Vitali Klitschko will meet with potential investors and top management of a number of leading companies, like UBS AG, Yellow & Company, Schneider Electric, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), TVO Capital Management, etc. At the meetings, projects ready for investment will be presented and discussed.
